The business field of the company covers the production and development of fastening, assembly and systems technology. Product range includes more than 100,000 articles, from the standard screw up to individual customer joining elements, and from manually operated setting tools up to completely automatic assembly systems.The company was founded by Wilhelm Bollhoff in 1877 in Herdecke/Ruhr, Germany and located in Bielefeld since 1923. This also became the headquarters of the family-run company, which is now on its 4th generation.The company and the group have nine locations in Germany and have subsidiaries in 19 countries. It is supported by agents worldwide for all the important markets. The group has worldwide production sites located in Germany (Bielefeld and Sonnewalde), France, the United States, Brazil and China. Its local sales force and modern logistics are the backbone for efficient consulting, support, and services. As a direct interface to the customer, Bollhoff has established subsidiaries in Germany (Bielefeld, Dormagen, Leipzig, Munich, Nuremberg and Stuttgart) and Austria (Linz).Some of its customers include: automotive and aerospace, machinery and plant construction, electrical and electronics, sheet metal and plastics processing, building, as well as furniture and wood-working industries.
