The Trevor Project and PUMA Partner to Support & Promote LGBTQ Inclusivity in Athletic Environments
The Trevor Project, the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning (LGBTQ) young people, today announced global sports company PUMA will donate $1 million over three years to the organization. The donation will help the more than 1.8 million LGBTQ young people estimated to seriously consider suicide annually in the United States, by supporting LGBTQ-inclusive environments in athletic facilities, as well as foster positive mental health outcomes for young LGBTQ athletes.
