It was founded in 1979 in Belgium by Paul Van Malderen which initially focused on producing health care products for the Belgian institutional market.The company's baby care products include nappies and wet wipes; feminine hygiene products consist of sanitary towels, tampons and panty liners; and adult care products comprise incontinence and medical products. It is a leading European producer of Babycare, feminine hygiene and adult care hygiene products. The company has approximately 16 production and sales units in approximately 13 countries throughout Europe, including France, Germany, Spain and the Czech Republic. It was listed on the Brussels Stock Exchange in 1998. The company aims to be the leading global hygienic disposable company with main focus on private label in retail and own brands in health care. It is committed to supply hygienic disposable products at the right value through continuous focus on innovation and quality delivering customer service, realizing cost improvements, creating shareholder values, respecting the individual, and always working at the highest level of integrity.
