The company's head office is located in Geoje-si, Republic of Korea.The company is one of the largest shipbuilders in the world and one of the Big Three shipbuilders of South Korea. It has developed into the world's premium specialized shipbuilding and offshore contractor that builds various vessels, offshore platforms, drilling rigs, floating oil production units, submarines, and destroyers.
