The Drivetrain group is involved in utilizing the company's 100 year legacy as an industry innovator in transmission and all-wheel drive technology. It leverages understanding of powertrain torque management to develop interactive control systems and strategies for the company's traditional mechanical items.The company has engineering team which supports its seven international technical centers and the research and development efforts of the individual business units. It leverages everything it knows about air management for optimal combustion, clutching and controls, and efficient torque management.
