Autogrill, lavoratrice licenziata mentre era in malattia per due post sulle “condizioni di non sicurezza”: “Volevo notizie sulla sanificazione”

Per ogni turno c’è un solo lavoratore a gestire tutto, dalla caffetteria ai panini alla cassa fino alla pulizia del bancone, delle tastiere del bancomat e delle porte. E deve anche controllare che i clienti rispettino le norme di sicurezza che, dall’inizio dell’emergenza, impongono di consumare cibo e bevande all’esterno. Il 18 marzo le rappresentanze regionali di Filcams Cgil, Fisascat Cisl e Uiltucs hanno proclamato proprio per questo lo stato di agitazione, lamentando che “l’azienda non sta considerando prioritaria la salute e sicurezza dei lavoratori”.

Autogrill North American Airport Performance Faces Long-term Labor Relations Issues: UNITE HERE

While the coronavirus poses short-term risk to the global airline and airport industry, Autogrill’s North American airport division, HMSHost, faces broader long-term labor relations issues.

In its last quarterly earnings call, Autogrill S.p.A. (BIT:AGL), which is controlled by the Benetton family, noted that its global revenue growth was largely driven by airport performance in North America. A number of recent developments, however, may impact HMSHost.

In January, Starbucks announced it was ending its 25-year exclusive agreement with HMSHost. HMSHost must now compete with growing food and beverage concessionaires OTG and Paradies Lagardère who can also include Starbucks in their bids for airport contracts.
