It offers its products and services across the country, as well as from branches located in the United States, Germany, Japan, Hong Kong, South Korea, Canada and Russian Federation. The company is recognized as one of the largest producer and exporter of electric appliances in China. Its household products are marketed under the Midea and Welling brands. Among its major products are air-conditioning units, electric fans and cookers, refrigerators, microwave ovens, induction cookers, water dispensers, washing machines, electric heaters, dishwashers, water heaters, cooking stoves, sterilizers, electric chafing pots, electric ovens, vacuum cleaners, and small electric appliances. It also has a portfolio of related products such as compressors, motors, magnetrons, transformers, and enameled wires. The company has built strategic partnerships with international firms such as the Japanese Toshiba, Sanyo, Shibaura, the American General Motor, and the Italian Merloni.
