It conducts business from its registered head office which is strategically located in Düsseldorf in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.As a holding company, it provides group planning and strategy. In particular, the company also exercises financial control over its subsidiaries, settles their general policy and appoints their top managements as well as provides central services. The company divides its activities into two sectors: Automotive and Defence. Parented by KSPG AG with its divisions Hardparts, Mechatronics and Motorservice, the Automotive Sector specializes in modules and systems for every aspect of the engine. With its divisions Combat Systems, Electronic Solutions and Wheeles Vehicles, the Defence Sector is one of Europe's leading suppliers and foremost specialist in the market for land forces equipment. It accelerates the group's ongoing globalization efforts, specifically in America and Asia. To further improve cost structures and competitive positions, the company is aiming for the best possible combination of locations inside and outside of Europe. Another goal is to generate added sales growth outside of Germany.
