Maschinenfabrik in 1953; and has its registered head office based in Hamburg.The company is one of the world's four largest suppliers of industrial trucks, warehousing technology and materials flow technology. In Europe, it is the leading supplier of warehousing technology. It offers leasing, sales financing of the products, the maintenance and repair of trucks and equipment and the sale of used trucks. The company's product ranges from simple hand pallet truck to complex, integrated complete systems. These products are distributed under the brand names Jungheinrich and MIC.The company produces more than 600 different industrial trucks, including electric and pump-action lift trucks, support arm stackers, electric and diesel counterbalance trucks, reach trucks, low-level and vertical order-picking trucks and high rack stackers. It also offers racking systems, including a wide range of shelving systems, mezzanine floors and pallet storage solutions for warehousing. Its logistical systems and projects include planning, designing, implementing and maintaining complete warehousing systems with the aim of maximizing efficiency within distribution centers. The company's production plants are located in Germany, the United Kingdom and France. It operates through a sales and service network in more than 100 locations in 30 countries.
