These products are developed for original equipment manufacturers, distributors and engineers, as well as the retail market. In addition, the company's automotive car batteries are completely sealed, maintenance free, non-spillable batteries. They come with a three-year warranty as standard and more on selected types. The silver dynamic Varta battery is ideal for new high performance cars with lots of electrical equipment, whether factory or retro-fitted, and particularly suitable for diesels. The blue dynamic Varta battery is ideal for brand new vehicles. The black dynamic battery is suitable for the lower electrical demands of older vehicles. The company is considered the world's leading manufacturer of car starter batteries. It operates six battery assembly plants in Europe located in Austria, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, and Spain.The company manufactures automotive batteries for BMW, DaimlerChrysler, Ford, PSA, Volkswagen and other automakers in Europe. It is also a major supplier to the European independent aftermarket, including customers such as Robert Bosch GmbH, hypermarkets such as Carrefour, and wholesalers.
