It operates 14 hub airports in the Paris metropolitan area, with a combined surface area of 6,677 hectares. These include three commercial airports: Paris-Charles de Gaulle, Paris-Orly and Paris-Le Bourget; 10 airfields: Chavenay, Chelles, Coulommiers, Etampes, Lognes, Meaux, Persan-Beaumont, Pontoise-Cormeilles, Saint-Cyr and Toussus-le-Noble, and one heliport: Paris-Issy-les-Moulineaux.The company was establishes as a limited company in 1945. It has several subsidiaries, which are involved in airport-related assistance, telecommunications, logistics and engineering services. These include the Alyzia group which provides runway assistance services; SCI Roissy Sogaris which manages and develops the Aeroports de Paris air freight logistics centre; and ADP Ingenierie which is an engineering company that provides design, project design and assistance services to contractors. It has forged partnerships with the main global players in air transport. These include Air France-KLM, Star Alliance and FedEx. In addition, it has joint ventures with British Airport Authority (BAA) and Copenhagen Airport.
