Its broad range of products, which are sold worldwide in more than 80 countries, include slabs, billets, black coils, plates, hot-rolled coils, hot-rolled sheets, flat bars, hot-rolled re-bars, hot-rolled black bars, engraved sheets, cold-rolled coils, cold-rolled sheets, circles, cold-rolled re-bars, cold-rolled circles, angles, wire rods, welding wire bars, bars for electrodes, reinforcement bars, and smooth turned bars.The company is known worldwide as the most competitive group in the world in stainless steel manufacturing. From its constitution, it has carried out a continuous program of investments, with development of own technological innovations that, in some cases, has constituted a true landmark in the technology of stainless steel.The company is formed by three flat products fully integrated production process factories: the Factory of El Campo de Gibraltar (Spain), the world's largest and the first in producing more than one million tons per year (2001); North American Stainless, N.A.S. (Kentucky, USA), also fully integrated since February 2002, with the start up of the melting shop; and Columbus Stainless (Middelburg, South Africa) that becomes part of the Acerinox Group in the year 2002, with the acquisition of 64 percent of its equity.
