The company was established in April 1972 in Livorno. The company caters the distribution service of common gases in five of the province of Livorno. It distributes methane gas, on behalf of the sale societies, in the province of Livorno in the common areas of Castagneto Carducci, Collesalvetti, Livorno, Rosignano Marittimo and San Vincenzo on a territory of 511 km sq with 226, 240 residents. The distribution network that it manages is 612 km long. It operates a water service and manages the five ATO Tuscany Costa (a role assumed since 2002), whose river basin is used by 359,000 common inhabitants and is distributed to 33 towns in the provinces of Livorno, Pisa and Siena. It also owns and operates a Second Class type B-Super landfill plant for special hazardous and non-hazardous, non toxic-noxious non putrescible waste. The landfill is destined for the disposal of slags generated by the thermal treatment of Municipal Wastes and the disposal of other special wastes mostly generated in the area of Romagna. The company aims to integrate in its territory distributing services the usefulness in a competitive market, in accordance to standard of elevated technical-productive quality, fairness and transparency in the relationships with the customers.
